THIS IS A TEST

Established in 1951, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is providing a variety of services in support of local communities and the Government of Nigeria including contributing to the stabilization of selected areas in Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe (BAY) States by enhancing Community preparedness for reintegration and reducing rejection and stigmatization of former Non-State Armed Groups (NSAGs) associates that will prepare the ground for community-based healing and reconciliation.

A key objective of this initiative is to promote their sustainable economic reintegration, thereby contributing to long-term peace and stability. In addition, the process aligns with the strategic priorities of the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) and the BAY States Governments, which emphasize economic empowerment, diversification, employment generation, and reduced reliance on public sector jobs or humanitarian aid. This activity is being implemented by IOM through a project funded by the European Union. In close coordination with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), the BAY States Governments, and community stakeholders, the initiative ensures broad-based collaboration and local engagement.
